Neskowin Ghost Forest

The Neskowin Ghost Forest is revealed by very low tides at the Oregon Coast.

I shot The Neskowin Ghost Forest during a few low tide events this summer. The first low tide I hit was on a lovely, sunny day. These are the barnacle and sea urchin covered remains of what was a forest two thousand years ago. The ghost forest can be seen during very low tides on the Oregon Coast.

For the other low tide event I got to see, it was a grey rainy day.

If you would like even more pictures of The Neskowin Ghost Forest, I have a separate gallery of the forest shot through a Lensbay Composer Pro. The odd focusing system of the lens created some gorgeous shots. I hope you enjoy them!
