My trip around Puget Sound and The Olympic Peninsula of Washington.

In 2017 I decided to take a roadtrip up around the Puget Sound and Olympic Penninsula of Washington. I’d been to Seattle plenty, but had only seen the rest of the state looking out of the windows of the Amtrak Cascades. I didn’t do everything I wanted to do, like go on the really small car ferries or make it to the farthest point North in the San Juan Islands. Hopefully another time!

I had two mishaps on the trip. I broke my main camera in a fall at Deception Pass and then also wound up getting sick. I tried to tough out whatever bug I caught, but had to cut the trip short and slowly make my way back to Portland. I didn’t get nearly as many shots as I would have liked, but I hope you enjoy what I did get.
